Desi (Adesina Sanchez)
Adesina (AKA Desi) co-hosts LatiNation!, the weekly, nationally syndicated magazine show that showcases a new generation of Latinos living in the U.S.
Desi was born in New York City where her academic and artistic achievements earned her both newspaper bylines and distinctive recognition. Named a National Hispanic Scholar by the US College Board, she later trained at the School of Visual Arts in graphic and web design, pursuing her love of art & imagery.
In addition to her on-going role as a television personality, the multi-talented, Desi is also an accomplished artist, actress, model and rock musician. She has held leading roles in several independent films, shorts and national television commercials and has even appeared Off-Broadway on stage. A classically trained pianist and violinist, and naturally gifted vocalist, Desi was also recently scouted by a major music production company, and is working on her first album, on which she writes and composes her own songs.
Speaking of vocal talent, Desi is a veteran radio voiceover artist as well, and can currently be heard on Sirius Satellite's worldwide Octane radio channel, branding the station's name and announcing new key musical acts that have been added to rotation several times each hour to millions of listeners. And on the modeling front, she has also graced magazines, catalogues and print ad campaigns, and was recently named an official 1050 ESPN/JETS model.
