Raw Travel Launches Season 6 in 95% of USA

RAW TRAVEL TV’S SEASON 6 NEW EPISODES DEBUT THIS WEEKEND
– Nation’s Leading Authentic Adventure Travel Series Grows Yet Again-

NEW YORK, NY: October 3rd, 2018 – AIM Tell-A-Vision® Group (AIM TV) announced today that its globally syndicated television series Raw Travel® will debut new episodes for its 6th season this weekend (Oct. 6th-7th, 2018) in an all-time high of 172 U.S. cities (up from 168 the previous season). With a remarkable affiliate list that represents 107 Million homes and 95% of all U.S. TV households, the 2018-19 season debut represents the 6th straight year of distribution growth coming off the 5th consecutive season of audience growth in most major demographics.

Season 6 will include multiple episodes from a variety of destinations, which includes Asia (South Korea, Indonesia), French Polynesia (Marquesas, Tahitian Islands), Latin America (Costa Rica, Colombia), as well as U.S. destinations (Louisiana, Central Florida) and more.

Bucking conventional media trends, Raw Travel has continued to attract younger demographics to broadcast TV while growing traditional core demographics from lead-in programs all across the country. The independently produced show has ranked #1 or #2 in key demographics in time-slots in major markets the past 5 seasons, even when up against network or large studio productions, showcasing viewers’ appetites for authentic shows with positive messaging,

In addition to TV outlets in Europe, Asia, and Africa, several major commercial airlines and cruise ships have begun licensing the series, helping to spread the Raw Travel movement of socially conscious, authentic adventure travel to viewers in all corners of the globe.

Season 6 kicks off this weekend with a visit to South Korea’s Gangwon-do Province where Robert converses with an original North Korean exile and partakes in a tea ceremony with a renowned Buddhist Monk at one of the country’s Temple Stays. Other highlights of Season 6 include a road trip in an RV to hidden gems in Central Florida; documenting authentic Cajun culture in Southern Louisiana’s Acadiana; traveling aboard the cargo-passenger hybrid ship, the Aranui, as the boat drops off supplies to the remote Marquesas Islands in French Polynesia; and taking a small sailboat tour around charming and remote islands of Indonesia.

This season also kicks off a mini-series of uniquely filmed episodes entitled “Going Solo” where Robert endeavors to get back to his roots of documenting solo travel.
